TD-Hybrids awarded 3TU-Lighthouse funding!

Winner

The 3TU.Bouw ‘Lighthouse Projectprogram aims 1. To better the relation between the Dutch Technical faculties, and 2. To provide ‘seed money’ to finance projects that, because of their risk profile, are not easily financed in other ways. The projects are deemed successful if the end of 2016 a ‘proof of concept’ or ‘proof of failure’ can be displayed in the form of a physical product. The ‘imaginative’ nature of the research proposal, as well as the delivery of tangible results (e.g. prototypes, test environments, and so on), distinguishes Lighthouse Projects from other funding schemes.

In this 3TU proposal TD-Hybrids works together with the TU Eindhoven. Of the 54 applications, 15 project proposals were honored, TD-Hybrids was among the 15 projects chosen to receive project funding of 50.000. This seed-money will be used to develop a prototype of the TD-Building system before the end of 2016.
